The HCH Theater renovation project includes essential upgrades: replacing the stage floor, upgrading sound and lighting systems, and installing projector equipment and theatrical blinds. These improvements will transform the historic Hancock High School Auditorium into a premier venue for theater productions, musical performances, and community events. Once finished, it will welcome audiences of all ages and foster creativity, collaboration, and connection.
Giving Tuesday 2024
In 2024, Right Start UP participated in Copper Shores’ Giving Tuesday campaign to raise funds for the HCH Theater Renovation. Between November 12 and December 3, community members contributed $20,715.31. With Copper Shores’ amplification, the final fundraising total reached $25,956. We are profoundly grateful for this generosity, which is helping us bring the theater back to life as a vibrant cultural and community center.
